Welcome to the website of the Law Office of Stephen Borgo, based in Pasadena, California.  My name is Stephen Borgo and I am an attorney who represents clients in their initial criminal appeal in both federal and state cases. I also represent defendants in habeas corpus appeals. In addition to appellate matters, I represent cilents in a variety of civil rights actions, discrimination claims, and immigration law matters. I represent criminal defendants at the appellate level and individuals in discrimination and civil rights matters throughout Southern California including the greater San Gabriel valley area.

Appellate Litigation

I represent criminal defendants in their initial appeal, following a conviction, at both the federal and state level. I have extensive experience in appellate litigation, which includes arguing before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and representation of clients before the Board of Immigration Appeals.

My Background

I am a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where I earned my Juris Doctor.  Prior to that, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Southern California. While attending USC, I was a member of the Dean’s List and graduated with honors.
